Pour cet artiste croate, Ivan Marusic aka Klif, ce n’est pas une démarche réactionnaire que de présenter une installation vidéo totalement analogique, sans mix et sans effets. C’est au contraire une façon de revisiter l’histoire du média en plus d’expérimenter la réalité de l’espace physique. Dans « Inside / Out », tout est issu des multiples caméras qu’il commande avec son ordinateur. Et il en joue fort bien…
Lors de la performance live, le groupe genevois The Proteins, à l’électronique rock’n’roll et bien pêchue, donnera un concert spécial au sein même de l’installation, où leurs images seront filmées, transformées, démultipliées en live. A ne pas manquer !

For this Croatian artist it is not a reactionary step to present a completely analog video installation, without mixing or effects. On the contrary! It’s a way to revisit the medias history and to experiment with its relationship to physical space. In “Inside/Out” everything results from multiple cameras that are controlled with a computer.
For the live performance, The Proteins, an electro rock’n'roll band from Geneva, will make a special concert right in the middle of the installation, where they will be filmed and their images multiplied, transformed…Not to be missed!
